Experience the music that gave voice to a movement and inspired a generation at the Arts Center at Elgin Community College. Lisa Rock, known for Close to You: The Music of the Carpenters, joins a group of world-class vocalists and an acoustic band to pay tribute to the golden era of folk music. This heartfelt performance features timeless classics like Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land,” Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now,” Pete Seeger’s “If I Had a Hammer,” and Peter, Paul and Mary’s “Puff the Magic Dragon,” among many others.
