In 1962 Baltimore, big-hearted teen Tracy Turnblad lands a spot on a hit TV dance show, becomes an overnight star, and uses her fame to fight for integration. Winner of 8 Tony Awards, Hairspray is a joyful celebration of acceptance and standing up for what’s right.
